On Monday, December 9th, Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. ("Rosebel"), carried out the annual Christmas project, one of our Corporate Social Responsibility projects. As in previous years, there was special attention for social organizations that provide health care to children, senior citizens, and people with disabilities. This year, 19 organizations from different districts were appreciated with a donation.

As part of our "Corporate Social Responsibility" at Rosebel Gold Mines, we implement various education-related projects within the communities of the Brokopondo district each year through our community development program. One of these projects is our Rosebel Brokopondo Scholarship Program, which aims to provide scholarships to the most successful students of the MULO and LBO schools in the district of Brokopondo, in order to continue and successfully complete secondary school or higher education in Paramaribo.
