In cooperation with the Suriname Conservation Foundation (SCF), Bios Logos has published a four-part series of books on the protected areas of Suriname. The official presentation of the series took place on December 9, 2016 at Jacana Amazon Wellness Resort. Rosebel made the funds available for the implementation of this project- US $ 30,000.
The series of books aims to contribute to broadening the knowledge of students, tourists and the general public on the nature and protected areas and to contribute to the protection and preservation of Suriname’s nature. Suriname has sixteen protected areas, which are relatively unknown to the public. These protected areas have diverse ecosystems with their own specific and unique flora and fauna. The series of books are published in both Dutch and English.
